Every book,
its own reader.

Four books to spend time with. Read, keep a passage, follow a thread. Or make a reader for a book you love.

Find a place to begin

The personal reader kit

Your book
next.

A favourite book deserves a place of its own.

Give your coding agent the free kit and a book file you’re entitled to use. It helps prepare a faithful edition, find the right look and build a personal reading site. Keep it simple, or make something that could only belong to that book.

Reading comes first. A walk, an index or a conversation between works is an invitation, never homework.

A few things to know

Can I take a book offline?

Yes. Open the reader in the browser you’ll use, wait for Available offline, then open Settings and choose Check offline copy before travelling. You can reload, change chapters, use the included companions and save or edit annotations in airplane mode.

External research, source downloads and sending messages still need a connection. Use the same address and browser. Cleared or evicted browser storage can remove books and notes, so keep a private backup from Settings.

Where do my notes go?

They stay in your browser. There’s no reader account or automatic sync. Select some words to keep a passage, add a note, or share an attributed quotation. Sharing leaves your private notes out.

Use a private reading bundle to back up or move records. Each reader has its own library; another browser, device or address starts separately. This landing page uses no analytics or cookies.

Can I use any book?

Use material you’re entitled to use. Owning a copy does not give permission to publish it, and some ebooks cannot be imported. The kit does not bypass DRM. Giving a file to an agent may send it to that agent’s model provider.

These four examples use reviewed editions identified as public domain in the USA; that is not worldwide clearance. Their source pages document translations, illustrations and notices. Keep personal books out of public repositories and unprotected websites.
